Brisbane Airport (BNE) Main Runway Resurfacing

Brisbane Airport Main Runway Resurfacing
- Cost A$15m, completed Sep 2012
- replaced the 11 year old asphalt in the touchdown zones in the touchdown zones at either end of the runway
- more than 200,000 work hours and 18,000 tonnes of asphalt
- 6 months of night work, resurfacing work conducted between midnight and 5am up to six nights a week.
- up to 100 personnel and 60 items of plant and equipment per shift

Passenger Teminal at Al-Maktoum International Airport, Dubai (DWC)

The Passenger Terminal at Al-Maktoum Airport opened on 27 Oct 13 for commercial passenger service.  The initial capacity of the terminal is 5 million passengers per annum.
