The O'Hare Modernization Program (OMP) increases the runway capacity at Chicago O'Hare Airport, America's second busiest airport in terms of passenger numbers.

In order to allow for continued runway operations and match funding availabilities, the Program, costing more than US$8 billion, was separated into several phases.

Many of the slides below are from Comissioner Rosemarie Andolino's City Club Chicago presentation that can be found at the following link. (45 minute video) Click here.

Hong Kong Airport Three Runway System Development website

Hong Kong International Airport is currently planning and designing their third runway.  This involves land reclamation, a third runway and associated taxiway system, satellite passenger concourse and support buildings.

The website is very comprehensive with many reports and videos.  In my view, the public outreach is quite unprecedented for an asian airport.
